"Eaglesports attends Spalding's 2008 Sales meeting and product launch during
NBA Europe Live in Rome Italy, September 5-7, 2007.
Alena Moroz, Natalia Popova and Jeff Ramsay represented Eaglesports at Spalding's
annual event to present next year's sporting goods and backboard product lines.
Once again, we all left this meeting excited, and convinced that Spalding has
again created the best basketballs and backboard systems in the world! We look
forward to our work in both categories in 2008, and can't wait to share the new
product with our customers.
We were again fortunate to have the Spalding meeting coincide with an NBA Europe
Live event; thus we were afforded the opportunity of meeting with various people
from the NBA to get an update on what they are planning (both globally and in
Europe) for the future. One of the things we learned is that all NBA games will
be played on Spalding portable backboard systems by the end of next season.
Finally, we were fortunate enough to be invited to the games of NBA Europe Live
in Rome. We watched as Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen faced Chris Bosh
and Andrea Bargnani of the Raptors in a close game that was won by Boston. We
would also like to thank Spalding and the NBA for arranging our attendance to
many of the events and parties during the weekend.
